Q: Is this course a Boston Marathon Qualifier?
A: Yes, we are indeed a Boston Marathon Qualifying event.

Q: Where is the Brush Creek Trail Park located?
A: The entrance to the park is at 2650 Brushy Creek Rd Cedar Park, TX 78613

Q: What is the average temperature on race day?
A: The race will start out in the low 50s at 7am and rise into the low-mid 60s around noon. In 2008 the low was 50 degrees and the high was 77 around 4pm.

Q: Is it possible to get a refund of my registration fees if I am unable to participate due to injury or unforeseen circumstances?
A: Please note that there are no refunds in case you are unable to participate for any reason. If you are unable to run, we will roll your registration over to the 2010 race or you may transfer your number to another runner.

Q: If I can't run, can I transfer my registration to another runner?
Yes. If you are unable to run, you may transfer your entry to another runner.

Q: Can I pick up my friend's packet at Packet Pickup?
Yes. Please bring the following information:
1) a printed copy of your friend's registration confirmation email with their signature and written permission allowing you to pick up their packet,
2) your photo ID (for our records as to who picked up the packet).

Q: Can I wear my iPod?
A: iPods or other personal listening devices are allowed in accordance with the amended rules of USA Track and Field.

Q: Can my friends/family/students/children accompany me for a few miles on the course?
A: The course will be open to the public, so you may have your friends and family run with you, just please be kind to other runners on the trail and don't block the entire trail.

Q: Do you allow walkers in the marathon?
A: Yes. The course will be open for 6-6.5 hours. So if you can walk under 14-15 minute miles you should be fine.

Q: Is there a pasta dinner?
A: No there isn't but there are several good restaurants in the Cedar Park, Round Rock and Austin Areas.

Q: Is there a limit to the field size?
A: We currently have a cap of 150 runners

Q: How will the marathon be timed?
A: Run-Far Racing services will be chip-timing the race.

Q: What time does the race start?
A: The Frankenthon starts at 7am sharp.

Q: Will there be post race massage available?
A: Yes, free massages will be provided for finishers by Performance Wellness

Q: Are awards based on gun or chip time?
A: Awards are based on CHIP time.

Q: What are the age divisions?
A: Awards will be given to the top 3 male/female in 5 years divisions

Q: What is the finisher's premium?
A: Finishers will receive a long-sleeve technical shirt, Frankenthon Monster Socks.

Q: Will medals be given to finishers?
A: Yes, we will have Frankenthon Monster Medals for all finishers.

Q: Is there an Expo?
A: No.
